Nature In The City

Turtle Power

A Perfect Little Island

Pretty Little Bird

The only frog I spotted but there were lots of them, judging from the sounds.

Photography Class

Another class. This time a walk through some very muddy land to see nesting boxes...

Captured!

Remember the Elusive Bunny?

Well, here s/he is:

Trying to look his/her best for the picture:)

Nice pose

And, then, quick as a wink - s/he goes:

Needless to say that I did not set out to take bunny pictures this time... I headed out  to the backyard to take some shots for a photo assignment of some fresh leaves. As I stood there looking at my forget-me-nots, there was a sudden movement and there s/he was. :)

Be A Rainbow

I had the opportunity to listen to Maya Angelou in person, at Roy Thompson Hall.
I grabbed the opportunity with two hands - I even took my Daughter with me.
She was as bright, as delightful as I had expected. What an inspiration for women (and men) of all colours, sizes, shapes, backgrounds.
"Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud" - is her motto.

This was my second trip there in less than a week:
Itzhak Perlman performed/conducted with the Toronto Symphony  on Saturday. Brilliant. I'm just thankful that I had the chance to see these special people.

Pictures!

My first Nature Photography class. What a gorgeous place!
The weather was perfect - it was a gorgeous sunset that never really worked out on my photos, unfortunately.
On the other hand, I managed a couple of decent shots of Trilliums even though that in my haste I forgot to take my tripod.
They are so pretty :)
