In My Backyard

This morning, I spotted a large spider on the solarium wall.  I could see the large web it spun and a very distinct shadow. I thought I could get a decent shot so I decided to grab my camera right there and then.
I think I've learned my lesson that there is "no later".  It will never be the same: light conditions change, the spider will move, etc.
One thing I could have done better:
I should have used a tripod and I should have experimented with other  angles, and another lens.

If only there were a few more hours in a day....

I've had some problems with my computer: a tad short on memory:).

It's a New Year

I can't believe I have not posted this long...

I tend to think of this as my "photo blog" and, since my camera was packed away, I did not get to take too many photos.
But, it's a new year, getting close to spring:) as the robins have announced their presence.
(I just love their sounds)
So, I'll be back with pictures and all.
